השר אריאל בעוז וגאו"ן: הגיע זמן ריבונות!
במלאת 3 שנים לחטיפת שלושת הנערים גיל-עד, אייל ונפתלי הי"ד, ביקר היום (חמישי) שר החקלאות אורי אריאל בשמורת עוז וגאו"ן שבגוש עציון.
במהלך ביקורו בשמורה נטע השר עץ זית וציטט את דברי הרב קוק זצ"ל, לפיהם יש לגרוף את האדמה קודם בידיים, כי קודם נוגעים באדמת ארץ ישראל בידיים ורק אחר כך גורפים עם המעדר. השר הוסיף בדברים שנשא והתייחס לזכרם של שלושת הנערים ולכך שבהחלט הגיע זמן ריבונות. ""לפני 3 שנים נרצחו שלושת ילדינו, ילדים של כל עם ישראל, שלוש המשפחות הכי אצילות במדינת ישראל הצליחו לאחד את העם הזה על רקע האירוע הקשה כל כך. הגיע הזמן ריבונות! אני אומר זאת ב'עוז וגאו"ן', במקום שנבחר להנציח אותם, אבל בעיקר לקדם את הציונות דרך הרגליים ודרך בתי הספר".
אריאל קרא בדבריו לראש הממשלה "להקים הרבה ישובים, הרבה בתים הרבה נטיעות, לבנות ולהמשיך קדימה, מגיע לנו את זה בארץ ישראל כולה, מגיע לנו את זה בגוש עציון, בעזרת ה'".
לביקורו של השר התלוו ראש מועצת גוש עציון מר שלמה נאמן וסגנו יואל סילבר, מר גאל גרינוולד, יו"ר החטיבה להתיישבות, מר צביקי בר-חי מנכ"ל החטיבה, מר צפניה שאולקר מנהל מחוז הר ושפלה.
בשיחה שקיים השר עם מקימי ומכשירי השמורה ביקש לדעת מה יוכל הוא לסייע דרך משרדו להמשך פיתוחה וחיזוקה של השמורה. השר ועימו הנוכחים במפגש צפו בסרטון קצר אודות הפעילות החינוכית-חקלאית שמתקיימת בשלוש השנים האחרונות בשמורה. במרוצת שנים אלה הגיעו ל'עוז וגאו"ן' מעל 35,000 בני נוער מכל הקשת החברתית בישראל ומכל הגילאים ו"בדיוק כפי שהרב קוק אמר, וכפי שציטט השר: הם כולם נוגעים בידיים באדמת ארץ ישראל", אומרות מובילות הכשרת השמורה ופיתוחה, יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר.

Minister Uri Ariel at Oz veGaon : the Time has come for Sovereignty!
On the anniversary of the abduction of the three youths, Gil-Ad, Eyal and Naftali, Minister of Agriculture Uri Ariel came to visit Oz veGaon.
The minister planted an olive tree and quoted Rav Kook, who said that one first rakes the soil with ones hands because one must first actually touch the soil of the Land of Israel with our hands and only afterward rake it with a tool.
Also in attendance, in addition to the minister, were Mister Gael Greenwald, chairman of the Settlement Division, Mr. Tzvika Bar-Hai, CEO of the division and Mr. Zephania Shaulker, manager of the Mountain and Coastal Plain District, accompanied by Head of Gush Etzion Council Mr. Shlomo Ne'eman and his deputy, Yoel Silver.
The minister asked about the needs of the preserve and promised to help. The minister and all of those in attendance watched a short film on the educational-agricultural activity that is done at the preserve. During the past three years, more than 35,000 young people have come to Oz veGaon, of all types and ages, and they do exactly what Rav Kook said: they all touch the soil of the Land of Israel with their hands.
After some words regarding the three youths, the main import of the minister's words was that the time has come for sovereignty. The minister called on the prime minister to establish many more communities and do a lot of planting, to build and continue forward.
