מגילת אסתר בא ללמדנו כדי להביא לרווח והצלה לא מספיקה תפילה וצום אלא יש להתערב אישית, להשתדל ולפעול כפי שאסתר ומרדכי פעלו.

גם כיום צריך את ההשתדלות והפעילות של כולנו – על כן אתם מוזמנים לצאת מבית הכנסת הנח עם החברים ולבוא לקריאת מגילה בשמורת עוז וגאו"ן.

 

* בתום הצום, בשעה 18:00, מעריב וקריאת מגילה ע"י ד"ר דוד מטר. לאחריה כיבוד קל.

שמחה ותודה על כל הטוב שעושה הקב"ה עמנו , כאז כן עתה.

 

* ביום פורים, יום חמישי, בשעה 8:30 בבוקר, תתקיים תפילת שחרית ולאחריה בע"ה ב9:00 בבוקר , קריאת מגילה ע"י ד"ר מיכאל וילשנסקי.

Purim at Oz veGaon

 

The Scroll of Esther teaches us that prayer and fasting is not enough to bring about well-being and salvation; we must become personally involved, we must strive and be active as Esther and Mordechai acted. Today as well, our efforts and activism are essential – therefore you are invited to step out of the comfortable synagogue with your friends and come to the reading of the Megillah at Oz veGaon.

 

* At the end of the fast, at 6:00pm, there will be Maariv followed by a reading of the Megillah by Dr. David Matar. Afterward, there will be light refreshments, joy and gratitude for all of the goodness that the Almighty does for us, now, as it was then.

 

* On Purim day, Thursday, at 8:30 am, Shacharit will be held and at 9:00 am, the reading of the Megillah by Dr. Michael Wilshanski.

 

For the Jews there was light, joy and gladness – that's how it will be, G-d willing, at Oz veGaon.
