Motti Karpel- thinker, philosopher, learned philosophy at the Haifa University, became observant at the age of 27, learned in Machon Meir and Merkaz HaRav.
During the Oslo agreements Motti was the first among the soldiers who refused to take part in the policy of giving away parts of Eretz Yisrael.
He was among the founders of Manhigut Yehudit. Served in the Egoz elite unit. Was editor of the "Nekuda" journal.
