זוכרים את אסתר כריש ז"ל
שנה שחברתנו אסתר הסתלקה מאתנו, צעירה בשנים, אך רבת מעשים וחסדים.
אסתר כריש היתה סגנית ראש המועצה בקדומים, מייסדת ומנכ"לית ועד מתיישבי השומרון, אשת חסד, טיפלה בעצורים הלאומיים-דאגה, עזרה,חתמה,שחררה, לוחמת בכל רמ"ח אבריה למען ההתיישבות במרחבי ארץ ישראל . כל פועלה היה בהתנדבות.
"אסתר הייתה אשת חיל, לוחמת וחולמת שהקדישה ימים ולילות למאבק על עתידה של הארץ ובמקביל, בגלוי ובסתר, סייעה לרבים רבים שהיו זקוקים לעזרתה", דברים שנכתבו על אות מגן ההתיישבות המוענק מידי שנה ל"דמויות מופת שסייעו לשגשוג מפעל ההתיישבות" ..

· 9:15- שרה אליאש, מנהלת אולפנת "להבה" בקדומים (לשעבר) , תספר על אסתר כריש, הציבורית והפרטית ועל נשים במאבק על ארץ ישראל.
· אורה ברנס - ליוו מוזיקלי
הזיכרון מביא את העבר אל ההווה ולעתיד. מטרת הזיכרון לגייס אותנו לפעולה היום.

ננטש ב2006. ערבים ופעילים בינלאומיים לוטשים את עיניהם לגבעה כדי לנתק את הרצף היהודי בין ירושלים לגוש עציון. ב2010, לאחר פעילות אינטנסיבית של נשים בירוק והועד למען שדמה יהודית, צה"ל חוזר לשדמה. חברי נשם בירוק והועד למען שדמה יהודית פועלים בשדמה כבר שש שנים להגברת הנוכחות היהודית במקום.

Remembering Esther Karish z"l at Shdema
A year has passed since our friend Esther has left us, young in age but full with activism and good deeds.
Esther Karish was the Deputy Head of the Kedumim Council, and the founder and Director-General of the Samaria Settlers' Committee. She fought, body and soul, as a volunteer, for the settlement enterprise throughout Eretz Israel.
"Esther was a woman of valor, a fighter and dreamer who devoted her days and nights to the struggle over the future of the land. At the same time, both openly and without any fanfare, she helped very many who were in need of assistance" - this was written on the Shield of Settlement that is awarded every year to an "exemplary individual who aided the settlement enterprise to flourish," by the council heads and the settlers' committees in Samaria and Benjamin.
This Friday, April 4, we will honor her memory in Shdema with the participation of:

9:15 am Sara Eliash, former director of Ulpanat Lahava (Regional Girls High School) in Kedumim. She will talk about Esther Karish, the public figure and the private person, and about women in the struggle for Eretz Israel. (lecture in Hebrew with simultaneous translation to English)

Shdema is a military base located between Har Homa and Tekoa.
Abandoned by the IDF in 2006. Arabs, aided by international anti-Israeli NGO's , have set their sight on the hill in order to interrupt the Jewish continuity between Jerusalem and Gush Etzion. In 2010, after Women in Green and the Committee for a Jewish Shdema got involved intensely, the IDF returned to Shdema. Women in Green and the Committee for a Jewish Shdema have been active in Shdema for the past six years to intensify the Jewish presence at the site.
Shdema is accessible by private vehicles. Organized rides will be provided based on preregistration.
