חברי גרעין שכם – העם מעריך את פועלכם, העם כמהה לגבורה, למסירות נפש.
כל אחד מבין שרק ע"י ניסיונות חוזרים ונשנים, ע"י עקשנות ונחישות נוכל לחזור לקבר יוסף לאור יום.
אנו מכירים את התחושה הגלותית של כניסה לילית לקבר מכניסתנו שם לפני כמה חודשים. הרגשת מחנק והשפלה קשים מנשוא ליוו אותנו ימים רבים.
כניסתכם הלילה, לאחר הירצחו השבוע בקבר יוסף של בן יוסף לבנת הי"ד, מאפשרת להרים את הראש בגאווה, לצאת מתחושת ההשפלה, לנשום אוויר חופשי של ארץ ישראל.
כאות הזדהות עם הנכנסים לשכם- מספר פעילים נשאו תפילה הלילה במערת המכפלה אצל האבא, הסבא והסבא רבה של יוסף- שיתערבו ויפעלו גם הם למען כבוד בנם, נכדם ונינם וכל צאצאיהם.

IN SUPPORT OF THE SHECHEM GROUP
To the tens of activists of the "Return to Schem" group who last night tried to enter Shchem and pray at Joseph's Tomb – Kol hakavod!
The people appreciate your work, the people are thirsty for bravery and messirut nefesh.
Everybody understands that only with steadfastness and repeated attempts, we will be able to return to Joseph's Tomb in broad daylight.
Having gone ourselves to Joseph's Tomb just a few months ago, we all felt the horrendous feeling of "galut" (diaspora)- being obligated to enter Joseph's Tomb only in the middle of the night, like thiefs in the night. The feeling of national shame and humiliation accompanied us for many days.
Your entry tonite to Shchem, a few days after the Arabs murdered Ben Yossef Livnat HY"D enables us all to proudly raise our heads and breath the free air of erets
As a symbol of our support with those entering Shchem tonight, a few activists went to pray at the Tomb of the Machpela in Hevron, by the father, grandfather and great-grandfather of Joseph- urging them to intervene on behalf of the honor of their son,grandson, great grand son and all their descendents.
